Národní Univerzita Ucayali v Peru začala využívat technologii Field-Map pro vzdělávání a řešení výzkumných projektů. Profesoři, postgraduální studenti a studenti byli vyškoleni v používání technologie Field-Map českými a peruánskými odborníky v září 2013. Rektor univerzity vyjádřil svou podporu pro využití technologie Field-Map v oblasti výzkumu a vzdělávacích projektů a prohlásil, že používáním této technologie se Národní Univerzita Ucayali dostala na úroveň evropských univerzit.

V průběhu mezinárodního veletrhu pro geodézii a geoinformace (INTERGEO) IFER úspěšně prošel servisním školením na nové produkty firmy Laser Technology, Inc. (TruPulse 200L a TruPulse 200X) a je autorizován k záručním i pozáručním servisním opravám úrovně 1.

IFER-MMS has developed a new technology for standing timber volume assessment. This technology is suitable for both forest owners and logging companies who wants to measure accurately the volume of standing trees, for instance in case of forest auctions.
